“Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is what you learn on the way down.”
Suzan’s background in yoga started in earnest with a combination of Spinning (indoor cycling) and yoga. The physical changes in her body were so profound that she took her practice further and completed her 200 hour teacher training through Just Practice Yoga under Pam Schulte. It has been an honor and a joy to share yoga with others ever since. As she continues on her path, yoga influences and changes her life on and off the mat. She is truly grateful to the students and teachers who have taught her so much over the years.
She is a 200-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance with over 2,400 hours of teaching Yoga in private and group classes to children and adults. She is also a Star 3 Spinning Instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics as well as a certified Stages Indoor Cycling instructor. She has been teaching Spinning/Indoor Cycling for over 10 years.
Her yoga teaching is rooted in Ashtanga and Iyengar Yoga. Types of classes that she teaches are vinyasa flow, hatha, restorative, chair and yin yoga. She tries to nurture a fun and supportive environment in all of her classes while offering opportunities to connect mind and body while on the bike or on the mat.
Her other interests are gardening, playing with Rudy, her Standard Poodle and cycling.
